The next PMW wine dinner will take place at the BayWolf on Thursday, March 18 at 6:30 PM. This dinner features the wines of Domaine Rouge-Bleu in the southern Rhône, as well as Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Domaine du Banneret and Champagne from André Clouet.
The irrepressible Jean-Marc Espinasse will be at the dinner to pour and talk about his wines and help us enjoy a convivial evening.
The wines:

+ André Clouet Champagne Grande Réserve, Brut Grand Cru
+ Domaine Rouge-Bleu 'Dentelle' 2008
+ Domaine Rouge-Bleu 'Mistral' 2008
+ Domaine du Banneret Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2006
The food:
Chefs Michael Wild and Louis Le Gassic have prepared a seasonal menu to accompany the wines:
Appetizers (with Rouge-Bleu Rosé):
Appetizer platter, including duck liver flan, olives, almonds, and two other items to be determined.
First course (with Clouet Champagne):
Swordfish, French lentils, and saffron beurre blanc.
Second course (with Rouge-Bleu Dentelle and Mistral):
Spring lamb with fava beans, minted peas, and fried artichokes

Meyer lemon fettuccine, with peas, favas and marjoram.
Cheese course (with Banneret Châteauneuf):
Cheeses to be determined.
Dessert:
Cookies and coffee.

We will gather at the BayWolf between 6:30 and 7:00 to enjoy Rouge-Bleu Rosé and appetizers. Dinner will begin around 7:00.
The total cost, including all five courses and five, is $75 ($95 with tax and tip). Payment to PMW in advance is required to reserve your place.
